Collection: Anda Rangel
Anda Rangel is an Interdisciplinary Artist and Designer with a background in textile arts and ceramics. She earned her BFA in Interdisciplinary Sculpture from Maryland Institute College of Art before transitioning into Interior Design through Restoration Hardware. Currently, she owns her own company, Anda’s Interiors, which specializes in interior design, project management, bespoke finishes, and custom art and flower arrangements.
Anda’s latest ceramic installations and flower arrangements reflect her early fascination with ceramics and the joyful experience she had creating art as a child. Her more recent work in the field of interior design focuses on the transformation of commercial and residential spaces through the use of the elements and principles of Art and Design. She sees every space as an installation and a work of art and loves to blend the two worlds she operates within.
Both Anda’s artworks and interiors incorporate natural materials such as raw metal, wood, clay, wool, and other natural fibers. Her wabi sabi approach rejects perfectionism and embraces playfulness and experimentation. She often employs unexpected color combinations and juxtaposes feminine and masculine elements in a way that creates tension without being overly serious.
Rangel’s intention is to share her passion for discovery and the creative process, as well as her belief that art should be an integral part of everyday life, through her creations.
